Saw this one ebay for £3 inc postage so thought I'd get one

It's dead accurate

Just need to decide where to mount the display and the sensor

As its for outside temp I guess near one if the plenty rust holes would be ideal.

Dunno, still pondering that, any good ideas?

Needs to be fitted somewhere reasonably light as there is no back light, couldn't afford on of them

I think you should craft yourself a pod for this little gem out of MDF and fit it to your A pillar :)

Blu tack is better. Much more classier. Especially if you have a blue car.

You could put it in place of the clock and forever have an excuse for being late! And then by means of compensation offer an accurate outside temperature! Win win!

because it has a whole host of features inc the temp, and looks good too, is outside temp really vital you have to put that shifty looking thing in, stick your head out the window innit :D

I think it looks quite neat, but how do you know it's "dead accurate"?

My Peugeot 306 Cabriolet's thermometer reckoned it was between 22-23 degrees C, and my Maplin temperature module says 23.0C, so I guess it's not far out...

depends where you put it, how about in the handbrake console by the switches ? or in top of the glove box area, ie hidden, shame its not a thin panel so you could put it in the top corner of the sun visor for flip down action lol

Buy a 6 button OBC for a lot less than a 13 button OBC.

It will give you outside temp and time.

Actually been considering hooking up a set of 4 of the higher range versions of these to let me monitor diff, gearbox, engine bay and brake temperatures on the track car. Will be useful to know before working on under trays etc.
