Cue the naysayers.

I like them. I'd probably go for Dare RS' though, even if they are slightly more expensive. I've heard a lot of good things about the Dares and there's even a guy that drifts semi-pro on them here and has had no issues. From my research, it looks like et25/20 should be ok for 16x8j/9j.

They're so cheap, if you knack one you can just replace it! Cost of replacing all the wheels is probably cheaper than a pro refurb of a set of BBS RS' :P

I was thinking of a red one. I think there's another bloke that runs them too though.

My brother has the black ones and he's mates with the guy selling these. They're imported from the US.

Revolution in Dunston sell Dare RS off the shelf for a similar price Mick. You can have a good look at them aswell to see if you're ok with the quality. They only wanted £389 from me for 17s staggered. Didn't go for them in the end though.

I thought the guy with the Alpina M30 had them on his gray 325, forgot his name though, think they might have been sold under "drift" wheels or somthing like that. The one of the last updates on his thread though.

I also so saw a very similar set on a white e30 at the German show, think I have a picture somewere.

Yep i do run them and am very happy with them

and I can guarantee that those wheels are made in exactly the same factory in china as the Dare wheels, just a different person bulk buying and selling. So quality wise will be the same as the dares (which is good/cost)

There 8 & 9J im running 215 45 on the front and 225 40 on the rear.
Fronts are ET25 and rears are ET20 and they sit perfect and dont catch, not sure if they would catch on the rear with 225 45's though.

I have just ordered a set from Matt at Stanced-UK, 16x8+9, et20 and et15 is what they had. Should be fine with clearance according to Matt.

I'm thinking 205/40/16 on the front and 215/40/16 on the rear? Not sure if I'd be better off with 205/45 front and 195/45 rears though? I don't want crazy stretch.

let us know how you get on with clearances and what tyres you go for if you will 8)

i would prefer not to roll my arches or have any stretch if possible .

i don't want the wheel lips sticking out .
