idle problem

318i when idles slight juddering. is as if trying to stall but very slightly. any ideas

Start by taking off the big rubber hose between thr air filter and throttle body and checking it for splits, check out the distributor cap, rotor and plugs, and take off the idle control valve and clean it out with carb cleaner for a start.
