if you now have 15" BBS, I have experienced something similar - the 15" BBS are 7J, whereas the 14" botts are 6.5J, so you might need tracking doing... I also have the same thing going from 15" 7J BBS to 16" 7.5J Hartges as well
not so much the steering pulling (a tiny bit) but definately the steering wheel

What tyre sizes before and after? And are the new ones all new/good? Could be as simple as balancing.

My owners manual states 2.0bar front and 2.2 bar rear -but the bigger, fatter wheels will exaggerate any tracking errors you may have had before...

balancing won't affect either where the steering wheel is when going straight, or pulling to one side
if you are not going to be swopping back to the 6.5Js, I'd get the tracking checked - costs nothing. If it is out then you'll be saving your tyres anyway, even if it's not the cause of your problem.
I know it's difficult, but try and go to a 'good' tyre outlet. A few years back I did a tour of tyre places with my mums car, as she said it felt funny; I thought it was ok, but I went anyway; most of the tyre places said
' tracking is out; needs doing...' without spending enough time or looking up the specific cars data
I went somewhere else, he took his time, looked up the cars toe-in etc and eventually said 'doesn't need doing'
I trusted this guy because of his attitude...
