Anyone have any tips on removing the now very yellow looking lacquer off the inner wings and rocker cover of my 318is? I'm guessing its an original coating but it looks crap now!
Thanks in advance!

Traffic film remover, or paraffin or thinners on a rag, followed up by a T-Cut and wax polish of the inner wings.

I think I used thinners on mine, but it did take the paint off the high spots of the seam sealer, so I didnt do the other side!

I used oven cleaner, just spray it on a spot, spread it with a small brush, wait 20min and remove it with a kitchen scrub pad. Works like magic on the 20 year old cosmoline but be careful around the intake manifold.
