Never quite understood the point of multi runs on a dyno unless your changing things inbetween runs unless i'm missing somthing you just foot down till it hits the rev limiter. Its not like a drag run were it depends how well you make a start or where you change gear....

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

What power are you expecting? I managed 284bhp but was over fuelling. I was fairly chuffed with that to be honest, in an s50 mind-not a v8 monster!!GB69 wrote:I got my 540 done at Evotune, think it was £35 on a dyno day, I had at least 4-5 runs.
Once the e30 v8 is done, I'll be going back to see if power has changed any.

As I'm doing the e30 v8 conversion needs custom exhaust manifolds I want to see if I lose any power after conversion. I might also go for a "tw&t mode" switch, to bypass the exhaust centre section and backbox.

A mate is doing the manifolds for me, https://www.facebook.com/pages/AB-Motor ... 6649000425curryp wrote:Who is sorting the manifolds for you? Or are you a very capable chap?
A **** mode switch has to be the way forward. I'll be able to hear you along the a19 then. A beautiful graph by the way
Anyone who can weld, can do them, just takes time and patience.

I don't really worry about the results unless drastically less than what it should be, but I'll use the base figure and graph to see the gains after mods
