On the old MOT (prior to my ownership) the car had an MOT advisory on airbag warning light, when I bought it the airbag light bulb wasn't working big surprise. I's now due MOT and I took the clocks out to replace the bulb, but it looks like it was a soldered in LED or something that has been broken with a screwdriver. Can these be replaced, or do I need to pick up a set of clocks?
Different question, is it a current MOT fail because the airbag warning light doesn't work?

In answer to your question. No they cannot be replaced unless you are into microelectronics. I think it is a fail on the new mot. My e30 got failed on the indicator bulb.

Airbag light is an MOT failure, and last year was also an failure I believe, so I guess it's got a dodgy ticket on.

Thanks chaps, ebay for used clocks it is then. Only an advisory last year (there was a lead in time for the UK on warning lights, towbar electrics and the other new gumf where future fail items were listed as advisories)
