Wonder if anyone can help I have coolent running down the passenger foot well I've taken the middle but of the dash out and there is a white box with too cables coming out presumably a sensor of some sort it's riveted onto a black plastic pipe one end going to the engine and one bolting on to the heater matrix between the white box and the pipe it's leaking fluid is this common? And what is it, is it cheap to replace? I would upload a picture but I'm on my phone and my partner needs the car for work
Cheers for Any help

If it's the valve part that's leaking it's quite pricey when new!

I'm wondering the same thing as mine sprung a leak too. Coolant going through it will be bloody hot though so it would have to be sealed well. I bypassed the matrix under the bonnet with a bit of pipe for now. I bought one of those matrix/valve assemblies from ebay that I put in the link above as I want some spare bits when I tackle it and considering the price of new valve assembly - it's cheap.

Nice one. I intend to do the same with the original valve after I've swapped in the spare.
