Does the e36 Block hose to matrix fit ok to the E30? ordered one and think i made a boo boo!! as i cant remember what hoses we used for it when the conversion was done.

Not in my case it didnt! Block to matrix hoses are a pita. Could butcher something from a scrapyard to bodge it, but the proper way is to make one up from various silicone hose fittings or use some of that wire reinforced silicone hose. It doesnt kink. Can't remember what is though, 19 or 21 mm IIRC...there's a photo in my build thread.

think i should of just got the e30 hose for it as my mate said but thought fook it didnt want it in bits just to see what the hoses are so took a gamble

20 - 25 quid for a metre of hose. Clips are t-bolt clips. All from Auto Silicone Hoses. I will check this weekend what ID I used if you want.

I used E34 hoses and they fit fine

22mm id it was. Fits to block fine but a bit big for the matrix inlet/outlets. Slip a small bit of 16mm id hose on each one as a reducer.
