Hiya

I was surfing on ebay and came across these - would any of them be good for the rear subframe bushes? which would be the best set to get, and does anyone on here have a set that they could comment on?

I'm sure people make their own using some threaded bar and suitable sized sockets - beats spending £100 odd.

Quaser, assuming the beam if off the car you can use a blow touch and a hacksaw..mine took a couple hours.

If the beam's on the car then those tools will be useless. You need to drop the beam a good few inches to get the puller cup onto the top of the bush, and that pretty much involves everything that a full beam removal requires; diff, exhaust brake lines etc off.

Having just done this job, I can't think of any way whatsoever that this job can be done without removing the beam from the car. Once the thing is out a hot spanner is by far the easiest way to remove the bushes.

If you can hang on a bit I have a pre facelift beam that is about to go off to the powder coaters that will have the bushes pre removed for you winkeye

Fair play so you drop it off the body mounts and let the diff hold it all up. I stand corrected.
