Hi all, the alternator on my "is" is running off centre and causing the belt to wear and also make more noise due to this, I've ordered new bushes from BMW but wondered if anyone had any thoughts on this issue? Are the bushes too soft? Or is it just an age issue?

Well these have sorted the issue, simple! Jus give BMW £43!! and they will give you 4 bits of rubber and a new aux belt.
Very simple job and now saves me the worry of it eating through a belt or trashing the alternator! Must be worth it then!
