So after an age I managed to get a dead roof working, but now the horseshoe tonneau cover is slipping and not lifting well.

I noticed the plate of the motor that clicks into the gears was bent and the teeth were worn. Bending it back into place in situ helped a bit but now I think all teeth have given up on the bit sticking out of the motor.

So new motor me thinks, but I tried for an hour to remove this thing and I can't. Does anyone know how to actually remove it or anyone near Surrey / south London that can help?

This is driving me nuts!

Ok I fixed this with a ghetto technique thats too hard to describe on the forum.

PM me if anyone gets stuck with that piece of sh*t motor in the future I'll be able to point you in the right direction.
