Can any one tell me the manufacturer part number for the M42 fuel pump? I'm looking for a replacement/uprated one if possible to replace my knackered one.

Do you have one laying around Mick? I need the part number of the pump it's self as it'll be a generic item rather than the one BMW give it?
I love how BMW describe it as a 'suction device' haha

IIRC the pump part is the same as you'll find on any facelift E30, would have to check though. You have to just remove it from the assembly and resolder the new one in, it's quite simple. I was able to get a new Bosch one from mister-auto for a reasonable price.
