Hello to all, my name is Josh, and I'm from Oregon in the US. I've been into E30 for almost 4 years now, and have owned 3. I'm picking up my newest E30 next week, a schwarz '86 325eS, which I will shortly after be fitting with an M20B25 from a 325i. My wife also drives an '89 325, we're an E30 family!
I'm very hapy to be a member here, I've always just kind of lurked around, and never really registered, but I think I was probably missing out on a pretty good section of the E30 community.
Hello to everyone, new member here

Yeah, it's definitely a VERY nice car. It's been E30 enthusiast owned and maintained for most of it's life. The interior is tan leather, and is impeccable, and the paint is flawless, it's really quite beautiful. I'll post some pics of if after this weekend when I pick it up. Even for an eta motor, it's very quick. it has 211k miles on it, and the top end was rebuilt at 139k. Brand new head, all new internals, and it's suprisingly quick. I plan to just chip the ECU and cruise around with that until I get the i motor built.E30Adam wrote:Welcome to the zone mate. Sounds like a nice car you're picking up there!!
On another technical note, can anyone tell me why my sig doesn't show up?

That's what I love about places with decent weather, the cars just don't rust. Take the E30's in CA for example, rust is unheard of. Over here you'd be very lucky to find an E30 with absolutely no rust.
I'd love to see some pics when you get it, don't forget to post them up in the members rides section.

Ah, I see my sig is loading now.
Yes, don't worry. I'll post lots of pics when I get it. We are also having a meet the day I pick up the new car, with about 10-20 E30's. I'll be sure to post lots of pics of the meet as well.
