Did I read somewhere that you had stripped threads in the block? Were they at pot no.6?

i bought this pipe for £1.99 [cheapest thing i've had to buy lately]....

hooked it up to the compressor and we have air leaks at throttle body and exhaust exit tips.
so i'm thinking take two good valves from the other head, lap them in and bolt it back up.
now do i need to spend again on head bolts and head gasket ?
i checked the dipstick and no air from there or any of the rad hoses , rad not connected up .

Ideally, you should fit new head bolts and HG, but seeing as you've only just replaced them, they are probably re-useable, though you may want to fit a new HG for peace of mind...

Fit a new gasket Mick, you can only really compress them once anyway. Bolts will be fine to go again.

Now you have a handle on the problem, do you have any idea how the valves got bent?
