On the right side the trunk aligns very good, but on the left side it looks like this: Image

Does this mean that the very left rear side of the body has been pushed a bit inwards?

you can see that there has been some bodge work around the aerial area, then again about 100mm/4" to the right...

Yes, I am aware of that but that shouldn't affect the alignment of the trunk lid. Or do you think that the car has been smashed and they've done a bad repair job?

the gap down the sides of the boot lid should be around 3-5mm...

are there any signs of damage on the inside ?

On the outside it looks like there's a square that has been repainted, but on the inside you can't see much at all. On the inside you can see the welding from the antenna removal. But is it only the antenna hole that has been welded, it seems like a bigger square has been welded too.

Cant see the video, its marked as private.

it could be distortion caused by the welding.

could you post up a picture of the back end, showing the rear bumper, rear lights and boot...

I've now made the video public.

I can't get a whole picture of the rear of the car because the it's too dark and the flash is too weak. This is the best I could do: http://i.imgur.com/kYp29hM.jpg

Yeah... But if you watch the image in the OP you can see that everything is skew.
