I've read in a few places online that if i'm fitting a m42 gearbox with m20 flywheel and clutch that i'll need to fit an e21 323 clutch release bearing. Is this true? There's no mention of it on the Wiki page i've been following...?

I've read that as well, although I think mainly on the US forums. I'm sure people on here use the E30 325i bearing without issue - at least I hope that's right as I'm planning on using the 325i bearing with the M20 clutch, flywheel and M40 box.
