Im going to be looking to get myself an alarm in the next couple weeks, was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations? I dont really know whose best with manafacturers like viper, clifford, cobra etc so im open to suggestions. Odviously i want the best for the least money or best value for money. Iv got a budget of about £150-200, if ill get anything fairly decent for that, which i thought i would, or hoped i will lol. If i could get something with remote central locking on that budget that would be a bonus. If anyone could give me any ideas that would be sweet. Cheers.

Had a cobra for 10 years on a car, it was faultless.

A lot of the time an alarm will only as good as the technician who fits it

Whatever you choose, don't think that you are providing anything but the most basic security for your car.
Anyone who knows what they are doing will be able to completely deal with any E30 alarm/immobiliser in minutes or usually seconds.
The most effective way of immobilising the engine of an E30, without diving into the engine ECU wiring, is to use a switch to short circuit the fuel pump wiring, as I've posted on here many times.
