Guys, I've got a couple of nice morsels but won't fetch top money as they are untested and I'm a bit unsure how to price them at all. The first is a full Headlamp was wipe kit, incl wiring, bottle, control unit, stalk, wipers and motors and light rims with stops and piping. ( The motors are not seized but as i say Untested, the second is a 13 button Trip Computer with full loom, os temp sender, stalk etc again untested ( and i think the gong is missing ) . Does anyone have any idea what these should fetch ( I saw the full ww kit that sold on e bay for £200 baut that was fully tested and guaranteed working) and am i better selling the parts individually or should they be kept as kits? I am thinking e bay but i would rather have some idea as to price before i start as i'm not a fan of 99p start no reserve style auctions. The other Idea i've had is auctioning the whole lot in one box as it's an unusual deal to get for parts like this. Your opinions would be appreciated on this as i don't want to give them away but that said i don't want to price them too high and waste weeks getting them sold. Thanks Ian

99p on ebay will be fine if:-
-International shipping.
-State untested but unseized motors.
-Great pics and great text on advert and the will sell for good money.
-Finish the advert around 4-6pm on a sunday evening.

With these items, provide good detailed pictures, offer worldwide postage, clearly state it is untested etc, and start at 99p, they ALWAYS get bid on... If your not comfortable with 99p starts, start them at £40-50 if you would be happy with that... I always start them off for what I want, depending on the item, although for HLWW and morsels I start at 99p and just let the world bid away

It's all about the advert! If it is clear, 'mong proof' and well written you can literally serve scrap as gold.
I once served a pair of cracked foglights for £76 + shipping to the nice Australian man

How do you pronounce 'either'? I say 'either', but some say 'either'. Either is correct.

Thanks for the advice guys. My only misgiving is with the HLWW setup the box would be huge because of the big washer bottle - Can you really offer international post on something that big without it costing a fortune? Also do i have to use a courier fot intl or do the Post Office do WW Parcels ? Sorry, I've never offered post before let alone Intl ..LOL

Avoid the Post Office for postage as it will be very expensive. Lots of couriers out there will do it far cheaper. For example www.paisleyfrieght.com

Thanks Guys, I do understand Bab-91's comment, I've had issues with stuff I've purchased being damaged by couriers. I'll just bubble wrap the hell out of it all and use a sturdy box.

They managed to distort a high back seat base by 6 inches. Bubble wrap wouldn't have helped.
The Internet - It has proven to be worthless, and is nothing but a repository for perverts.

Bubble wrap and a box, pack it well...
List of sites I use are
Paisley Freight
Interparcel
Parcels2go
ParcelMonkey (Good for international)
Transglobal Express (Again, good for international)
Make sure you measure and weigh it correctly... Dont over charge the buyer postage costs, get the cost and offer the best possible price, that way you get more people willing to spend that little bit more.
They pay for the postage so dont worry about the cost.
For UK, you'll be looking at about £5.99 with Interparcel, sent via MyHermes. I always offer free UK postage as its peanuts and people then spend a bit more...

I sent mine for £55 to Canada.
I would allocate yourself at least £75 on international shipping. They will pay if they want it bad enough.
Book through interparcel, choose UPS or Fed-ex
If going to Australia then Transglobal Express is usually cheapest.
FYI, I got all the parts to my kit in the box that my clarke jumpstart booster pack arrived in so not that big a box really.
Lay all the parts out neatley on a clean tarpaulin or sheet with all the piping and looms neatley coiled etc and if you want to get anal give them a clean. You would be surprised at the difference that makes you come 'pay-day'
