But you worked it out Grrrmachine for which Im very grateful. I'm the one that made a silly mistake by not removing the plug at very begining :)
I think your refering to a different screw so have loaded pic of screw I messed about with & forgot where it was to start with!

The screw I think your refering to I tried to move but its siezed in so broke, I could do with moving it a turn so its on my to do list :)

My current problems require a new posting because the engine running issue is finally solved for which I thank all the people involved on here :D

I've posted that on MANY threads before, and it's quite possibly in one of my scribblings that have made it into the wiki.
I posted it again in this thread more as a warning to others who may be going down the a similar path.
Looking back through this thread, all of your problems have been caused by lack of care when fitting this conversion, (electrical plugs interchanged, fuel pipes transposed, etc.), all have been covered on here many times and are well documented in the archives.

Brianmooore....pmsl...... You turn speculation into fact! I employed a professional auto electrician for the specific purpose of getting the new thicker engine loom threw the smaller bulkhead whole, which he done. He also wired up the starter motor and labelled the TPS and AFM plugs. However it transpired he had wirde up the starter motor wrong and as you would have read on here the TPS and AFM were the wrong way round. Hense my logic of paying a so called professional was clearly flawed because I had no reason to doubt what he done.
I have also just replaced crankshaft & piston rings in addition to having to remove dashboard plus majority of wiring and then learnt to weld so I could replace both footwells and some of bulkhead. So yes I suppose I lacked care by placing my trust in a legitimate professional and as difficult as it may seem to you to believe I have no recollection of reading anyhing relating to the screws on the throttle housing. Infact I only mentioned them on here because I thought a possible mis-understanding had occured.
Personally I would have thought it more constructive if you could have included telling me what to do with the screw pictured above or included a link to one of the many articles containing the required info that you say are available to read prior to what you wrote. Or at least stated it was a warning to others, but again a link to info explaining the relivance of the 2 screws would strenthen the beneficial effects of the warning as opposed to be told not to do something without being told why?
This isn't said in a negative way and no offence intended, I just found your 1st post on here of no constructive use at all, a simple link would have remedied that. :)
