Many many moons ago I converted to 5 stud without realising the e36 318ti rear setup actually tracked around 20mm wider each side. Now im wanting to fit a dished wheel et19 and obviously sticks out too far and without doubt will foul the arch. E36/46 offset et41/47 are what do fit.
My question is, is there a way of bringing the track back in to allow et19/20 to be fitted without sourcing and buying e30 m3 gear. Different hubs bearings maybe?
I have searched but there are so many 5 stud threads and hubs were touched on but no definitive answer.
Thanks
A slightly different 5 stud set up question (hopefully)

I would say you'd just have to look for a wheel of the right offset, which I guess limits the amount of 'dish' you can have.
To be said though, I have 17" 8J wheels, ET29 with 215/45/17 track tyres and they just about clear with some arch rolling. More clearance with smaller wheels, obviously.
