Does my early E34 non vanos m50b25 have a lambda?

Hopefully putting the engine in this weekend, but I can't find a connection on the loom, or anywhere else for a lambda sensor. Am I missing something? Or are they not required on the early e34s?

It will need a lambda to run properly, the plug on an E34 loom is under the starter on a small bracket, on an E36 loom its part of the wiring that connects to the reverse light switch on the gearbox
