That Poor boys stuff is the bollocks mate, leaves the surface like a sheet of glass.

That sicko Kos put me onto that polish,i think its for Black cars only.
Thanks for the comments its been hard work and taken up a lot of time.
I did the paintwork on the repairs myself, quite pleased with it, unlike the small dent i inflicted on the drivers side wing when i jacked it up against the brick pillar in the garage, unfortunately i had Cliff Richard on full last and didn't hear a thing .

As for that polish, it will work better on dark cars. I recently used it on a grey e92 and it gave an immense slick finish after it topped it off with a wax

Black hole will do a good job on any paint but comes into its own with blacks and dark grey. I've done tests on darker blues and greens and it works well on them as well.
For lighter coloured cars you can use poorboys white diamond
Both are similar in they way they work to good old autoglym super resin polish but they are not as dusty. Saying that autoglym now have a new formula available with is even easier to work with. It's had more cut that the poorboys stuff so probably better for paint that's more neglected

Passed MOT with advisory on exhaust clamp and minor leak, didn't realise that the new certificate showed history
The car has only done 3000 miles in the last Four years , it's only done 75252.
Tax Thursday happy days.

So many options but meguires ultimate wax (liquid form) bonds and works well with the black hole. You can get it in halfords or PM Kangman. He may have a bottle to sell at a good price
You've done the hard work, so any wax will work. The meguires one is easy to use being a liquid type. Foam applicator and buff off. Get a quick detailer or spray on wax for top ups after each wash

Chemical guys 50/50 wax?
Found it gives a nice finish, if a little maintenance heavy...
