Not much been happening since the new family arrival in our house but im hoping to get back into it again now and try and make the retro meet in essex with a few other E21s fingers crossed.
while im not working on it im still always thinking about it lol.
Any way had a few sets of wheels delivered this week two sets of which are destined for the E21 one set are 7x15 bbs Mahles and the other set can just be seen below them (ill let you tell me what they are). they will all be painted and polished. So my BBS RS's seen previously will be up for sale shortly if anybody is interested pm me.

This looks nice, always good to see a good E21 Build amongst the E30 ones it a good break and if the mods don't mind more people should show theirs off if the mods are okay with it, rare piece of metal! Have you seen the orange E21 here it's a 316 I think looks nice and mint as yours, love seeing them randomly pop up on here haha.

Also Congratulations with the little one.

the paint has suffered to be honest not helped by using the car cover outside but nothing that a days labour cant sort out.
anyway it got its MOT last week but being a tightwad ill tax it at the start of June. Still a fair bit to do but first impressions are good it goes like stink.
Thought I would stick a set of wheels on to pass 20 mins and below are the pics for you to see.

Bit of an update got put on the road and suspension set up but my spring rates were too hard so I ordered some new springs and whilst waiting for them I had a quiet week at work so thought I would give it a bit of a tidy up
As ever with the e21 it got out of hand (I must say though it goes like stink and sounds awesome)
Image

I went looking for rust and found none :-)
Image
Image
Did some work on the cookie cutters but can't decide weather to paint the centres Porsche macadamia brown or not I'll fit them in white and see how they look.
Image
Image
Lastly got some old school recaros in mint condition I just need to decide weather to go for a safe or bold full leather retrim or try and get them covered in the original fabric and keep it stealth and original.

I'm loving the last update. My vote is brown on the centres of the cookie cutters.
It's looking extremely tidy.
Keep up the hard work.

I think the thread was actually started back when it was 'Photos Section'. Given this section is pretty much just about projects / builds it fits in here fine. If it was in the 'Other BMWs' section I'd probably never read it.

Dont take much notice of Steve, he is an oem homo of the highest order :D

I dont see the point in some of the mods but its a clean/bodge free car thats looks to be staying very standard looking, nothing wrong with that

I've been crying for days lol. Everyone has opinions just some people are able to express them more eloquently lol. The whole car is marmite from the shape( e30s ugly sister) to the colour (hearing aid beige it's known as). I enjoy the tinkering and and probably once it's finnished I'll start another project e30 v8 tourer that's bound to offend as it's not got a pig iron big six in it
Anyway it's almost back together now just need to swap the springs again and do the Geo and I can create some havoc. ( only in the dry at the moment though as I may have gone a little far on minting the underside which has made me a bit precious.)
