Cold air Induction kits, WhatÔš's your view? There are lots on the market with vastly differing prices and claims. My current K&N set-up is poor so down this road I must go. Info and experiences from other people is the best way to research this so please tell me all? :D

Stick with a standard airbox with a K&N panel filter fitted, with a normal aftermarket cone filter you are sucking in hot air reducing the engines performance. Something like the BMC filter would be good as it's sheilded from the engines heat.

I had a typical max power filter on my car when I bought it, changed it for a standard (with K&N) and never looked back. When funds allow I'll get something like the BMC filter (available through the zone shop) :thumb:

Stick with the standard set up and change the filter often.

i had a golf MK2 with a standard airbox and filter just opened up towards the right inner wing where the cool air comes in and my mate had an identical car with a fancy looking k&n my car used to tear it to pieces anywhere in the rev range all down to the crap filter he had so i say stick with a well modded original
