dips had a 318 tourer and 19" hartge replicas with leda coilovers and the thing was slammed, i'll tryand get pics posted, it also had 4 15" atomic subs in the back (1000rms) with two US amps driving them, looked and sounded awsome

IMO front must be lowered more than the rear. ie 60/40 or 80/60 E30's need rake IMO, they just dont look right without it. Go for coilovers and you can go -100mm if you want but you'll need some sort of indestructable sump!

the only way to lower the e30 80mm is to get coilover ride adjustable suspension kit. this way you can eie how low you want to go.
i dont thnk any company does a 80m kit.

Watch this space, I might just have to do a DIY lowering!!
80/80 might just about be right, I need to see photo's of an E30 on 15"
with a big drop!

i've never heard or seen of springs lower than 60/60, mines 60/40 and that seems groung hugging enough. Only coil overs i've seen can offer a lower ride height. But only on the front. anymore than 60 on the rear would be silly surely!

The cab is only my summer car, I have the Zafira for daily use! I want the car about an inch off the floor, dont care what it drives like its all about the look as explained earlier in the thread!

this is 60/60
to get lower than that, you would need to heat the rear springs and chop a coil up front.
or use springs from a 316 or 318 if it a 320 or 325 that you want to lower.
this is also a 60/60

true, its easy on 17's. depends on your driving style. the diablos were nice old skool rims, has a set on my mk3 golf, never seen them on an e30.
