Right, put my 15's back on today as I had the 17's on for a while (as you can see in my pic). What a difference! I now officially do not like 17's! The car just handles so much better and is so comfy and smooth. Plus it looks better on the standard motorsport wheels methinks. The 17's even had yoko parada spec 2's on them and the 15's have BF goodrich profilers yet they are Waaaaaay better!

Just though Id express my love for 15's! :D

I have to agree... I was running round with 17" Alpina reps on my old Sport for a while... then every now and again I would put back on the standard 15" BBS's... and WOW! What a difference they make. Driving was much more pleasurable with the 15's on.

A sign of getting old I reckon.

That's not getting old, it's common sense setting in

How do 15" BBS compare to 14"?

I think I'm gonna have 17s on the cab and 14s on the 316i

I had 14" BBS's on my 320iS - came as standard, and that handled superbly!

15's look better though.

I have to agree. Ive never been a fan of big wheels on cars. Fair enough they do look good but the handling always suffers. I sold the 17s on my GSI Astra and put on 16s and even though it was only an inch the difference in handling was huge.

For that reason Im sticking with the standard 15" BBS wheels on my Sport.

i've had 14's, 15's, 16's and 17's on mine and i liked the 16's best. the rolling diameter is just right (215/40/16) and they're as light as the BBS's so everyone's a winner! they also look coooool!

i am running 14 bottle tops and i am two minds about changing them (just bought new tyres 195/65 R14 NCT5's) Still on the look out for a set of 16"s thou. I like the ride, these tyres suck up the shock and road ruffness brillantly even with a 40mm drop.

For the best all round package you guys ought to be running 16"s. Hartge swore by em. Same for Alpina.
