Folks,
I have a question about the rear trailing arms, i appreciate the differences for disk/drum and ABS models, but are the arms model specific?
Im on the hunt for a set (i have a pre-facelift 320i cabby with abs) and am alive that some parts are not interchageable.
I did consult the wikki but could not see the answer.
any help would be welcome.
cheers
Gary

Any ex-E30 trailing arms will fit,as long as the donor had the same spec as your car.
So your hunt is centred around disc braked,ABS equipped cars.Late 316i tourings usually had this spec,if it helps!

I thought all non disc trailing arms were the same and all disc ones were the same with just an option of ABS but that you could use ABS trailing arms on a non ABS car and just not plug the sensors in.
Is the above not the case??

Correct. No problem using ABS arms on a non ABS car - just unbolt the ABS sensors and remove them.appletree wrote:I thought all non disc trailing arms were the same and all disc ones were the same with just an option of ABS but that you could use ABS trailing arms on a non ABS car and just not plug the sensors in.

Even better is to ft ABS front legs as well, along with the rest of the ABS kit.

I originally bought the with a view to adding traction control but now I will just use them as spares.
