Version group ETK 1.1.0 03/2002 so it's quite old, any help would really be appreciated

it worked, I know I've got an old version of the ETK so does that mean the prices are from 2002??

I assume they are 2002 prices. Just think of them as a guideline, they may be on the conservative side.

when you have loaded your etk click on the box on the front page "version" and it will tell you what year you have then go to the link on your very own zone and download the right one for your year of etk

Cheers guys, it worked and yes it was a pig to install. It said on that site about part no's changing, can anyone shed any light on what is meant

Well I think they have changed part no's I tried the above for a 1991 318is (assuming that's what you used) and dosen't even list them.
Think it's time to start looking for a newer ETK.

Why would BMW change part no's over the years, seems a bit daft creating a lot of extra work

How do you download the pricelist?? I dont know how to do it! Can somebody give me a run down of how?

click on the sysadm icon then click on load prices, type the files location on your pc then click ok, it should install from there.

Check which version of the ETK you have by opening it up and clicking on the version button at the top of the screen. Go to http://www.bmwpages.co.uk/downloadetkpricelist.html and download the correct file. Extract the files, you'll have a set of instructions and a file called BMW0702 (or similiar), click on the BMW file and disk 1 and disk 2 will be shown. Open up your Sysadm tool and select load prices in the drop down menu for EPC!, a box will apear for you to put the location/path into. Right click on disk 1 and select properties, copy and paste into the box on Sysadm, it should now download the prices. Repeat for disk 2 and viola it should work I tried following the instruction file and got lost and confused

This way SHOULD work, I only found this by trial and error. I hope it helps mate

No, have you got the Sysadm system? you need it to work the ETK

ive never managed to get mine working either,ive got 2 discs one is a parts one and one is technical,i bought it off someone on the zone but cant remmeber who,they said it would work on xp but it never has! what is the sysadm??? maybe this is what i need!

to install.... open disk, go into...

WIN95/BMW/ETK then click on SETUP

after that you should have Sysadm icon on your desktop, click on that then

click on EPC then INSTALL
