Hi All

Have got my E30/LS1 conversion up and running this year, Its not finished yet but the initial shakedowns are proving that everything is correct and not breaking!
I got it on the Dyno last night and managed 340hp and 350LBFT from the stock LS1. I have one more event this summer then the car is getting broken down for a full rebuild and tidy up. will spaceframe the front and rear ends. possibly fit rear mounted radiator and then toying with the idea of supercharging it.
Its entertaining to drive at the moment but 500+ hp is the goal.

We put it down the drag strip for a laugh one night and managed 11.9 on old screwed drift tyres so its definitely not a slouch.

I have wanted to LS1 an E30 for a long time. Cost is an issue sadly. :)

awesome sound would love to hear a tunnel blast.

anyone know how much an ls1 costs to import to the uk?

what gearbox can be used with this engine?.

Lots new and not much less second hand.

Not sure of the cost for UK but here in Middle east they are reasonably cheap and plentiful, hence the swap. I run a Borg warner T56 6 speed in my car with a custom alloy propshaft to a diff flange conversion to a standard M3 LSD.
I thought the Stock diff would be the weak point but its holding up very well.
