e36 m43 to m52 .....little question of help ??

im converting a 1996 4 door 316i 1596cc to an m52 from a 1996 328i....

obviously the engine loom is plug n play into the car loom at the main connector but im hearing different views about fitting the dash clocks from the 328 into the 316 saying it wont connect to the car loom plugs meaning i would need to swap the complete interior loom.... is this true?

No its bull. You will probably need to do some wire changes depending on your ABS system but you will find out once running if it drops into limp mode
