Can anyone help with information on the best way to wire an aux 12v socket in the boot of my touring.
What I need is where can I pick up power from or is it best to run a new feed if so where from.

There won't be any natural feed back there, but it's not too hard to do since the Touring was designed to have its battery in the boot anyway. Just run your own wire with a fuse close to the battery terminal, and follow the path of the original battery-in-boot wire:

What maximum current do you want to draw from the socket?

Might be an opportunity to get the battery relocated to the boot, E36 cable is the perfect length for a touring
