Annoyingly my rear spring dislocated whilst driving and it rubbed the driveshaft unfortunately ripping the cv boot open

Purely time wise so I can get to the German show next weekend, is there a universal cv boot that can be used temporarily until I get enough time to get a new driveshaft on it?

If so what have people used in the past?

You can use the stretch boots, I did that in the past to get the car through an MOT. Basically disconnect the shaft from the diff end. Slip the boot over the end using the cone so the larger opening is to the wheel side then cut off the old boot and fit up the new one.
