It might be silly or im a bit stupid but while doing work on my e30 i had to change propshaft mount.
Went to gsf car parts.. gave them the reg .and got the prop centre mount with besring but its about 20mm too narrow.. i mean the holes for the mount
I thought theu made mistake.. went on ebay.. found the one for my car.. with the roght year and engine and its exactly the same.. too narrow again.

Can somebody please explain it to me . What is the difference between them

Difference is that pre facelift cars used a mount with wider spaced bolt holes.
Are you using the build date or registration date of your car?
If that's not the problem, start looking for suspicious looking grinding and welding marks around the VIN panel.
