after talking to a zoner about poly gearbox bushes i was thinking of changing mine. have looked at the ones he has and found a couple more mostly in usa. is there any others that could be used to uprate mine? 325 touring. and i did use bmw ones when i put gearbox in so anything else apart from renew the ones you have is the way forward comments thanks.
i did read e21 ones were stiffer?

Yep, two E21 323i ones are a good upgrade to the standard pair of E30 mounts.
I've used them in a good few cars with good results. Polybushes on the gearbox tend to transmit a fair bit of vibration and noise from the drivetrain through the tunnel

whats wrong with new standard ones? they can take plenty of track work. poly just transmits all vibrations into the cabin

I've put the e21 mounts on. One of my mounts was on its way out . Feels a lot better and more solid. Seem to change gears smoother?? Could be placebo . And they are febi ones about £5 each
