What im unsure of is do i splice them in or do i cut the wires solder them in and if so which side of the plug

also im guessing the brown wire with the washer connector in the earth?

I've got the wiring diags I used for my S50 conversion somewhere. It really isn't hard to wire up.
I'll dig them out, but it might not be for a few days.

No worries 8)
From memory, its about 6 or 7 wires, plus a couple if you want to kill the starter as well ignition.

Did you buy the conversion from Furbster on here?

I thought I recognised that EWS wiring - that's my old conversion! :D

The only wires you need to connect are the free wires you have - the earth, the two wires that have been labeled (not by me) and the 3 wires from the yellow plug.
The rest that are taped up in a circle are not needed. Some is for the starter inhibitor circuit which I chose not to use, the rest is for circuits not present in the E30.

You can get EWS deleted, but when I enquired it about getting it done (in 2005 ish), there was an issue with that age ECU as its a 3.0ltr with EWS. That's why I kept the EWS, plus the added security is a bonus.
Things have probably moved on since I looked into it, so its probably possible on that ECU now. There is a member on here who can delete EWS, but I can't remember who - it's says in his sig whoever it is.

I knew there was someone who could do it on here :) So there shouldn't be any problems nowadays then?
Although tbh, all the kit is there and it's only a few wires and job done.
