The car numbers arrived with me today. Here are the rules, from both me and the organisers.
Organisers:
On both days, cars need to stay on the stands until 4pm
Please make sure you are on the stand for 10am, you won't get into the field at all on Sunday after 10am so if you are late, you're going to be in the car park, not the stand.
Entrance to the show ground for cars is via the Red Reception, which will be marked on the main drive, the easiest thing to do is show your number and you'll be directed.
Cars must be clean and tidy
Drive slowly and carefully through the show ground and observe speed limits
Top Tips:
Bring Wellies if there's been any rain, the walkways can get churned up quickly if it is busy
Bring an umbrella
Bring rags for wiping the muck off the car you may pick up on the way to the stand from the show ground entrance
Bring a camera, there's always lots of cracking cars on show
On Sunday, cars are pointed out the back road to exit. It's not pretty, is full of ruts, some quite deep, gets really backed up and if you stay until most cars have left, you can get out the way you came in and there's much less risk of damage to lowered cars.
Each car has free entrance to the show for two adults and two kids so if anyone wants to pop up on the day we can perhaps save you the entrance fee.
