Dont get we wrong a VW is a nice well built motor but the last 3 even 4 if you squint a bit have all looked the same, think they need to sack the design team and bring in some flesh blood.

Its so bland

I agree, nothing blander or more common than a golf.

Would I drive one? Happily.

Would I pay £28,000? Absolutely not.

Its not enough car for my money but VW will have some very clever people locked in offices, working out that their are enough monumental genitals that will.

Gone right off VW product - the old stuff is driven by proper weirdos and the new stuff is a proper ripoff.

Suprisingly old 150k mk4 golfs still seem to be fetching stupid money even though they are fat and slow.

I'll pass thanks.

I had that problem at the start of the year. Wanted a small run around so thought a polo GTI would be perfect.

The price of some of these things was ridiculous. Big mileage and had been maintained on a shoe string or lowered and abused!

Ended up with a mk6 1.4 petrol Astra. Don't ask! :(

I'd happily put one on the drive. Without the DSG as well.
