Shame, nothing is safe these days.

Things like this put me off owning an expensive and rare classic car, some people admire them and some people plan on stealing it.

I'm in Dorset - will keep a keen eye out for it, but my guess it will either be stripped for parts or shipped elsewhere in the country, or even out of the country - stolen to order?? They're not going to risk driving a very noticeable car like that anywhere near where it was stolen from.

Feel for you. I hope it's found. Looks quite a distinctive one.

Owners of these should just all fit trackers in them without even thinking about it now.

so many getting stolen! v sad! owners should really invest a few hundred on a decent tracker...

try and do some digging around, there are cctv cameras everywhere call around look at shop cctv and council and see if you can find any leads...

There's not much security which will stop a car being taken by a truck, or trailer. Anyone nicking an e30 is likely to know the cars inside out and be able to find a tracker within minutes, and theyre only any good if you know it's gone so it can be activated.
cheers,

i would of had that belled up to the max CAT1 alarm, a tilt sensor is always must and a 24hr active tracker for a M3. I'm surprised the insurance company didn't demand for these to be installed at least to insure it the price M3's are now
