Thinking about making the 3 1/2 hour drive for this but its either this show or Santa pod, is this show as big as santa pod?, obviously theres not a drag strip and its a different type of show but after a look around there doesnt seam to be many pics of last year unless your on facebook which i'm not.

Should be a big show, we sold about 1500 tickets last year if I remember right, it's everything German, rather than a BMW show, but you get entry to the museum, Palace House, grounds, abbey, Top Gear and James Bond exhibitions all included in your ticket.

The fact that Jim and Matt keep going back each year despite the journey sold it enough for me. For me the only thing Sant Pod has going for it is the drag strip but bits hardly exciting watching cars doing 14sec 1/4 miles, plus its a total council fest.

The journey is the best bit! The German Show is way better than Santa Pod. Pods crap
Too many bruvz & loads of sh1tters. As Kedge said, the best bit is the strip and thats crap watching BMWs go up it.
The German Show, the drive there, the camping, the food, the actual show, the grounds are all great, they have the worlds best portaloo, it has solid oak door frames and marble tiles... No lie either, its better than what I have at home

So THATS why you keep going back, you're slowly stealing the portaloo each year aren't you! And this year your going in a touring too you greedy b*stard!
Agreed that TGS is a better show than Pod. I prefer to go Pod to see some hot rods or top fuel action, 4 second passes make anything else look like its in slow motion
