I have an e30 318is, which I am putting an M60 4.0 v8 into. I was wanting 5 stud conversion but getting confused with people saying cant use normal e36 hubs must use e36 M3 Evo, as it affects castor.

But I want to use BC Coilovers for e36 compact, and use Wisefab lock kit which has eccentric rear wishbone bush. If I was to use BC coilovers with Wisefab lock kit would I still need to use M3 Evo hubs or would normal e36 hubs work? Other alternative would be to use RPM Coilovers, and get 4 to 5 stud adaptors.

The E36 coilover strut is separate from the hub & kingpin unit, unlike the E30. This means that you can use E36 compact coilovers and bolt E36 M3 Evo hubs to the strut. This is exactly what I have done in my build, albeit with Koni coilovers.

I just don't want to buy e36 m3 evo hubs if normal e36 would do with the setup I wanted.

Oh, I see - I've used E30 M3 eccentric lollipop bushes (in Powerflex flavour) and I have to say, castor is just about right. I don't know by how much extra (if any) that Wisefab lock kit increases castor or by how much standard E36 hubs reduce it, I'm afraid.

Evo arms + eccentric bushes + evo hubs + damper / coilover of your choice + e30 topmount or redrilled turrets.

Not exactly sure what the difference between evo and normal hubs are, but people wouldn't spend the extra for evo versions if others worked fine.
cheers,

Yep I know that, you inc the evo arms, going wisefab kit eliminates the need for arms. If it was for road use then that's the way I would go with evo arms.

I cant find any info anywhere of anyone with an e30, using e36 hubs with wisefab kit.

Any e36 hub will be fine with wisefab kit, so long as you specify what hubs you use to wisefab to ensure the correct adapters are sent with the kit.

The wisefab kit is more then likely going to eliminate any form
Of geo that a evo hub would offer over a stock hub

That's what I was hoping for, just emailed wisefab about using normal e36 hubs or evo hubs to be sure. I did email them last week, but didn't make it clear which e36 hubs I'd be using. There response was I need a hybrid kit to inc E30 camber plates and all the lower part from the E36 kit. I'll be ordering thru driftworks when I decide for sure which hubs I'm going for.
