I have a 1989 Touring car which I would like to install a cage into, can someone who has more knowledge than me tell me if a coupe or salon car cage will fit, I have had varoius companies say no and others don't know? I think it should be OK but would not mind a bit of help and advice from you guys.

I have looked at both bolt and weld in cages and I think if I do need to change anything a weld in one would be best to start off with, any thought on this too.

ps I can weld!

Thanks in advance.

Both will fit, technically they only make cages for the 2 door cars but they fit into all e30's

One thing to watch out for is if the cage is designed for a sun roof equipped car. A cage designe for a car with a sunroof will fit in both sunroof and a non sunroof body, but non sunroof cage will not fit in a sunroof car unles you remove the sunroof cassette or cut the cage down

Safety Devices bolt in cage available shortly :) It is in a non sunroof M3 but is a sunroof cage so will fit either . The cage has side bars and is in excellent condition.
