Trying to remove the head on a old 325e engine , the problem I've come across is the head bolts are being a pig to get out I've removed most of them one has snapped and 3 are spinning and won't come all the way out , also there is no movement in the head what so ever ? Tried hitting the exhaust manifold with a rubber hammer and nothing any help ?

TBH it sounds like your block is probably scrap. Can be a pain to helicoil the snapped bolt out and sounds like you may have stripped the thread somewhere on the others.

You could try lifting under the shoulder of the ones that wont turn, so they are under tension as you undo them.

The head wont budge until you have removed the bolts, it may also get a little stuck on the one thats snapped. Save your manifold, remove it and hit the head with the rubber mallet.
