Hi guys, I recently purchased the 318is touring that was listed on here.

Although it is a very clean car I am working my way through the niggles. Obviously the engine had been converted, although it has been done well there are a few things that need tidying.

Below are a few thing I need assistance with, any help is appreciated.

Image

1st up is a small rubber pipe on the throttle body beside the intake hose. Where does it go?!

Image

A lose plug beside the MAF sensor. Been informed its supposed to be unplugged, but what is it?

A plug beside the steering UJ, its part of the same loom as the coils.

Anyone have any clues?

The plug by the afm (its not a maf on the M42) is probably for the carbon canister on Cat equipped cars. Yours won't have a Cat, so this plug is left just tucked out of the way.

The round plug on the steering side is for the Lambda sensor - most facelift E30s will have this plug on the loom, but again its just left unplugged as most UK E30s don't have Cats. It should be clipped up under the battery tray.

Sorry, can't help with the pipe on the TB, but maybe part of the TB heater that's been deleted??

TB pipe is also for the carbon cannister. There's supposed to be a rubber plug under the TB, but it rots out over time so the pipe pictured is a cheap reliable fix.
