I have just been testing the ICV on my 320i cabby. The ICV itself seems OK with Ohms as they should be, but the plug showed voltages of 10v between the inner and one outer but only 4v between the inner and the other outer when it should be 10v too. My question is, what do I do now?! Any advice greatly appreciated

if its the 3wire pwm idle valve most bmw use you should get battery v between centre pin to ground, the valve its self is controlled using Pulse Width Modulation, effectivly the ecu switches the wire on and off to ground to controll the opening of the valve, while the same thing is happening on the other wire to close the valve, they are kinda like elctical springs working against eachother.
