That's assuming that 'bottletops' are completely unavailable. Not the most glamorous solution, but right for the car and light - weight to send.

Have the wheel covers for the 14" steels, looking for 16" 4 bolt alloys, or at worst, 15" at least.

Of course I don't want to make the turd actually look shitty, so will wait till I get something.

There is an ebay shop owner who has graciously offered to ask his Jallandhar (Punjab) returning employee to carry some stuff for me this August-September.

Maybe I should ask him if he can port rims to this part of the world. Or will he stop answering my emails

Lack of real options forces me to do cheap things. I think I will paint the steel wheels and run the car. Hoping some work lands me in EU and I can lug the good stuff over to Mumbai.

The white one? Had been eyeing it for a long time, got it inspected and is more horrible than what is described or can be seen. The Doc has been trying to sell it for nearly 2 years.
Had got him down to 2000 GBP. But walked away after the inspection.
This is one of a handful that are around in India. And what i have is in an equally sorry state, just that it was easier to transfer as it was in Mumbai itself and not in New Delhi.
