I will soon be looking for an e30. Just looking for advice or tips on what and what not to buy? Needs to be a manual and in the £2500 mark. Would greatly appreciate any feedback and info.

Welcome Ryan. You should find a good condition 325i for that price. Are you looking for a 6cyl or 4? 2 door, cabby or tourer? Looking for something basic no frills or something fancy? Do you prefer the more classic look of the E30 or the meaner look of the m-tech 1 & 2 kitted cars?
