Power flow are cheap rubbish, often bodged together by someone with no clue about gas flow.
The only good things are you can chose tailpipes, and to some degree what sort of sound you want out of it.
I've had one once, never again. Decent quality off the shelf job, designed by a company who knows how to make an exhaust system work properly every time.

there are some quality zausts out there like remus and another one i can't think of without blowing a grand on one.the last m52 swap i did for a customer he chose a mongoose system that sounded deep and burbley ,the scorpion has three tones to it depending on your driving mode, burble, rasp then screaming window smashing mode
.
i bought my scorpion middle and back box for £150 second hand and had the boxes cut open,re-filled with kevlar wadding for £30 and it's spot on now .

i'd have a pop at this ...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E30-325i- ... 5d407c24a8
you could get that sent to you for about £30 in 3 parcels with interparcel .if you don't like the noise oir the packing has gone in the boxes causing it to resonate [howling scream ] you could get it re-packed ...

Powerflow exhausts are poor quality products so i heard from the guys that done my exhaust (they use longlife products). If your running a 325 then i would go for the exhaust suggested by magpie.
Scorpion exhaust is a winner for an e30 325

Supersprint exhausts are also very good, although I've no idea how much they are these days.

A decent 3 piece system will set you back 400-500 quid, so keep that in mind.
If you don't have the budget, I wouldn't mess around with cheapo stuff - just save up, then buy a quality kit, when you can afford one.
I want to get a full Scorpion system myself, but my pockets aren't that deep yet

Scorpion are rubbish. Stainless on the outside, mild steel on the inside. Eventually all the baffles etc get blown out the tailpipes and they make your car a horrid boomy drony turd which is very tiresome, especially on an auto. Contrary to popular belief, noise does not necessarily = power.
Powerflow are best avoided as well.

Best exhaust - genuine BMW system. Lots of money but the quality is second to none and it's guaranteed to make the power and a nice noise as well.
The only aftermarket exhausts worth a toss were Sebring, but I doubt they make an E30 system now.

Hi all, just picked up on this thread and i would like to update the Powerflow status.
Firstly Powerflow is under new ownership,it is now owned by the same company that owns Longlife, basically they have bought out the competition.
Powerflow products were originally of a lesser quality than some others.Topgear[the owners] are now building the Brand up to be the top name in custom exhausts in the UK.All components are T304 stainless, exactly the same as Longlife only the etched branding is different.
We decided to change from Longlife to Powerflow a short while back as the Brand is more suited to our company, nothing has changed our end we still custom make exhausts and manifolds and take great pride in giving the customer exactly what they want in terms of looks and sound.
Topgear also police their franchisee,s making sure that all work is of the highest quality and will not tolerate poor quality.
heres one we did on a E21 alpina 323 last week, this car is mint and the customer very fussy,he new exactly what he wanted and the end result was one happy customer.

as with everything in life you only get what you pay for.
Cheers Keith
