Shame you guys cant make it, but thanks for letting us know
Hope you sort your trac'or peewee.
Sorry I have not been on here updating on here, I have just managed to rebuild my entire car in about 2 days (and 2 nights), I am broken. Driving to the MOT this morning broke down
put a rather lifeless battery on the car, didn't realise the alternator was fooked. got it to the MOT with a borrowed batt, and............ passed
I do like to cut it fine
Anyway you all need to head for Pontypool. My post code is NP4 7RL, get there and look out for my white touring parked on some grass on the inside of a sharp bend. You have arrived
I think if we aim for about 10.00 am. I will be there early, and you are more than welcome to be there too. There wil be a cupper here waiting, and may be even a pig based breakfast, if you're lucky. Toilet facilities are a little less well catered for, so maybe a safety stop before you get here would be good.
There is a service station just outside Pontypool, on the A4042 meets the A472, NP4 0RH ”Ž, should get you there. This station is a shell so 99 ron can be bought here, Dot.
If you are lost or running late give me a call on 07788454083. Please dont be too late.
When we meet up we can have a chat on what everyone wants to do. It looks like we have a stand on the car show if we want. But we will see.
I'm off to get 40 winks, then change my alternator.

Its my pleasure to organise a meet as long as people turn up, so thanks to all who came. It was a shame about the weather, and that we couldn't stick to our original plan, but I could think of worse things to do on a Sunday
Lets see if we can get a few more in this summer.

Apologies too Byron.
All the work that told you I had listed took longer than expected.. it was all first time jobs for me, so there was a fair bit of head scratching, trial and error. All which inadvertently cost me time....
The touring's still got it arse in the air minus an exhaust and MOT.
After this stint of repairs, I'm just going to be driving it for a while so shall be at the next if one its squeezed in in this 'Summer"..

Weather crap but to be honest the cars and the banter was all it needed. We had a few coffees, lunch and mixed in with the local exhibitors and 6hrs flew by. I struggled in the rain to get and then keep my car going to be able to get there but thoroughly enjoyed it.
I really must get Miles a nice black leather interior for his motor though. Poor bloke turned up with a shell and a fire extinguisher. Wouldnt mind but what the hell was there to actually catch fire that necessitated a sodding great extinguisher like that.
The bonnet didnt even have hinges and the headlite lenses were held together with blue tape.
..or am I missing something here...

was going come down but ended up going the other way to London to pick up another E30. (a genuine Motorsport with all the goodies which I might break once im done with it).
but at the other hand its good that i did not come as i would have messed the picture coming in my R32 Skyline. still working on my M20B28 engine build. ( to be honest iv only managed to get the head off the old block and got lazy)
hopefully ill make it on the next one and i should be in my E30 and not the skyline.
hope you all had a good time.
any more pictures?
did i miss anything?
