Any way of disarming the clifford immobiliser dashboard lamp - The car has been stored in the past so battery was disconnected but now back on road and garaged it will be seldom used - and don't want to run down battery. Ideally it would be better off without flashing light altogether. Any ideas?

If its just a bulb in a spare switch space in the console, you could pull it out and remove it/ cut the bulb out, and put a blanking plate in itHunchkipper wrote:Any way of disarming the clifford immobiliser dashboard lamp - The car has been stored in the past so battery was disconnected but now back on road and garaged it will be seldom used - and don't want to run down battery. But that won't drain much power, best thing to do is just disconnect the battery if left for long periods

It's drilled into dash - thought of taking out fuse but can't find a fuse - so thinking it must be hard wired without fuse perhaps to stop the thief taking out the fuse. Looks like disconnecting battery again!

Buy yourself a battery conditioner - this will top up the battery and keep it in tip-top condition when the car is not being used. Stops the messing around with disconnecting the battery, which will also have an effect on the OBC and the battery (behind the clocks?).Hunchkipper wrote:It's drilled into dash - thought of taking out fuse but can't find a fuse - so thinking it must be hard wired without fuse perhaps to stop the thief taking out the fuse. That's what I use as my car isn't used very often. The ctek ones are pretty good.Gert_8 wrote:Buy yourself a batter conditioner - this will top up the battery and keep it in tip-top condition when the car is not being used. Get yourself one of these. Easier than disconnecting your battery every time
